LogFusion 1.2.4 Released!

February 11, 2011

I am very happy to announce that LogFusion 1.2.4 is now available for download! This new version adds an option called "Re-open logs when starting" for toggling whether LogFusion should remember and re-open your previously loaded logs. There are also some huge performance improvements when using the text filtering feature with huge log files. I would encourage all LogFusion users to update today to take advantage of these updates.

LogFusion 1.2.3 Released!

January 31, 2011

I am very happy to announce that LogFusion 1.2.3 is now available for download! This new version adds an option called "Only Show Highlighted Items" for filtering out non-highlighted lines. This is very handy for people that setup lots of highlights, and only want to see the lines that are highlighted. There are also some small performance improvements, and reduced memory usage. I would encourage all LogFusion users to update today to take advantage of these updates.

LogFusion 1.2.2 Released!

January 24, 2011

I am happy to announce that LogFusion 1.2.2 is now available for download! This is a small update that significantly improves LogFusion's ability to load extremely large log files. LogFusion 1.2.1 added the ability to load logs with over 1 million lines. This new version improves that ability, allowing log files that are up to 4x larger to be loaded. If you work with large log files, I would encourage you to update to version 1.2.2 today!

LogFusion 1.2.1 Released!

January 22, 2011

I am very pleased to announce the release of LogFusion 1.2.1! This release focuses on one issue: loading large log files. I have removed the "Lines to Load" setting and replaced it with a "Bytes to Load" setting that can be disabled if desired. Previously, you could specify that you wanted to load 500 lines (for example) when opening a log file. Now you specify the number of bytes (in MB) to load. This allows for some behind-the-scenes optimizations that allow LogFusion to quickly open and process huge log files. For example, a 600mb log file with over 1 million lines opens in roughly 10 seconds on my test machine. If you work with large log files I encourage you to download this update today!

LogFusion 1.2.0 Released!

January 13, 2011

I am very happy to announce the release of LogFusion 1.2.0! This new version fixes a number of issues that were found in version 1.1.2. LogFusion will now run correctly with the .NET Framework 2.0 pre-SP1 (unpatched). Version 1.1.2 was unable to run on a pre-SP1 machine, which caused issues for some people. Also, when the configured font can't be loaded, this new version will now draw the log entries correctly. Previously, some log entries would be drawn incorrectly or would be blank. I would encourage all LogFusion users to download this new version today!

What is LogFusion?

Do you need to monitor log files from a server process, or watch debug output from an application? Do you need a program that can do this quickly, with powerful features that make it easier? I'd like to introduce you to LogFusion! LogFusion is a powerful log monitoring tool that makes parsing your logs easy. Take advantage of LogFusion's Row Highlighting and Text Filtering features to quickly filter your log and only show the relevant lines you are looking for. Use the Custom Columns feature to let LogFusion parse and split your logs into separate columns for easier reading. Just like the popular 'tail' program in Linux/Unix, LogFusion can also auto-scroll and always show you the newest lines in your log files in real-time.
