I'd installed LF 6.7 on Win 8.1 x86 and it worked. While trying different things to bring forward settings from another x64 installation something in .NET broke. Removing LF and reinstalling did not help. Have not yet tried removing the .NET 7 runtime. Maybe some other special registry key needs to be rest?

This is a VM. I revereted to a snapshot from months ago and now a fresh install reveals the same .NET error. Granted, this is Win 8.1, but it worked the first time. Weird.
Strange, do any of our other apps throw this error as well, or just LogFusion?

Strange indeed...I tried reparing, then removing and reinstalling the 7.x runtime but that didn't help. The MOST unusual thing is that it worked the FIRST time I installed it. But now, even reverting to a snapshot from last November and then installing I get the same error.

Do any other apps that use .net 7 fail to launch?
Also did you uninstall the .net 6 runtime before updating to .net 7?

I don't have/use other apps that require the v7 runtime. I can't see that any other runtime version is present. In a day or two I'll try on a BRAND NEW install. This is an older machine that also has VS2008. So other things might be contributing to the weirdness.
