It would be great to get an option for systematically enabling highligthing on new logs (off by default).

I'm not quite sure what you mean by systematically enabling the highlighting. Are you looking to have all of the highlight rules enabled by default for new logs?

Yes, that's it. For instance, I have a rule where "ERROR" is systematically highlighted in red for all the logs.
