My pc is a win7 64 bit machine trying to download the application event log from a winxp machine. The firewall is not set. I am able to see the event log if view the event log remotely, and I see a lot of items listed. Yet when I attempt to download, it appears to be connected, but nothing is showing up. Wondering what I am doing wrong or if something needs to be installed on the target or on my computer.
